Fragkiskos Filippaios

Dr Fragkiskos Filippaios is currently a Reader in International Business at Kent Business School, University of Kent. Previously, he was the Director for Graduate Studies and Accreditations at Kent Business School, University of Kent. Between 2008 and 2010 he was the International MBA Course Director at Kingston Business School, Kingston University London. The academic year 2007/2008 he was the Ministry of Economy and Finance Senior Research Fellow at the Hellenic Observatory, European Institute, London School of Economics. Fragkiskos was awarded his Ph.D. in 2004 by the Department of International and European Economic Studies, Athens University of Economics and Business.

His research interests are on the roles of subsidiaries of Multinational Enterprises, the location strategies of multinationals’ subsidiaries, and the role of technology in the multinational group. He is also actively researching areas of education management and development with specific focus on the use of online social networks.

He has worked as a consultant for the Ministry of Development in Greece and published in internationally recognised academic journals. He also acts as a reviewer for various international journals, he is an Association of MBAs Accreditation panel member and he is an active member of the Academy of International Business and the European and International Business Academy.
