Kyriakos Drivas

Kyriakos Drivas is a technology transfer specialist, an adjunct lecturer at Hellenic Open University, and a former visiting economist at the United States Patent and Trademark Office, where he worked extensively on the patent re-assignment dataset.

His research interests lie on the empirical study of innovation management, intellectual property rights, economic growth and technology transfer.

He received his PhD from UC Berkeley (Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics) and in the past he was a Post Doctoral fellow at the University of Piraeus, the Agriculture Economics and Policy Research Institute, the Agricultural University of Athens, and the Athens University of Economics and Business.

His research has been published in numerous scientific journals including Nature.
